After School Activities for Youth

∙ Training in basic computer skills
∙ Basic academic skills enhancement- tutorial & Homework assistance.
- Keeping Communities safe- interpersonal skills, comflict resolution, cultural diversity.
∙ Recreation - games, team sport activities and field trips

Food Commodity Service

. Distribution of bulk food items to low income individuals and families to supplement food allowance.

Food Pantry

- Distribute supplemental meals to individuals and families that exhausted their food stamps allowance or victims of a disater and referrd by other service provider.

Summer Youth Services

∙ Coordinated summer youth team sports, swimming, arts & crafts and field trips.
∙ Summer Youth Employment - subsidized employment for low income youth and job placement services for older or ineligible youth.

Employment and Training

∙ Job Readiness and Job Retention Skills Training for Community Residents.
- Job development in the private sector.

Eviction Prevention

∙ Payment of rental & mortgage arrears for qualifying customers with a eviction notice.
∙ Financial counselling and money management

Advocacy

- Assistance in application preparation and navigation of human service system (i.e. Social Security , Social service and Vendors

Back to School Clothing

- Distribution of new clothing and school related items to low income children

Holiday Baskets & Toys

- Distribution of food baskets and toys during the holiday season ( November & December)

Gently Used Clothing & Furniture

- Acquistion and distribution of personal and household items to low income individuals, families and victims of disasters.
